Guatemala has a very diverse culture that consist of many different types of people. There are lots of races, religions, and ethnicity. Here is a lot on Guatemala's culture.
Guatemala's official language is Spanish but that is not all. There are twenty three officially recognized languages in Guatemala. This is mainly due to the native population that has numerous languages. The natives in Guatemala believe in local gods as well as more celebrated gods. On the more celebrated gods topic, seventy percent of Guatemalans are Roman Catholics.
Guatemala is a very crowded and poor country, in fact very few people actually have an automobiles in Guatemala. The main transportation is by bus. Most natives live in peasant conditions and a high percent of ladinos live in one or two room houses. Plus, to add to that only about fifteen percent of the kids in Guatemala go to high school. Now on to the crowded part, Guatemala is the most populated country in Central America and it isn't even the biggest. The population is around 13,550,440 people with 27.5 people per square mile.
